Correction · Clarksville, TN
Machine polishing that removes swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation — restoring the depth and clarity your paint had on day one.
What Correction Fixes
Look at your hood in direct sunlight. If you see a spiderweb of fine circular scratches, that's swirl — the accumulated damage of automatic car-wash brushes, dirty wash mitts, and drive-through dusters. Add a few Tennessee summers of UV and the clear coat goes hazy and flat. None of it is permanent: swirls and light scratches live in the clear coat, and machine polishing removes them.
Paint correction levels the clear coat with progressively finer polishing stages until the light reflects cleanly again. The difference is dramatic — dark colors especially go from cloudy to mirror. Sam offers three levels: a gloss-boosting enhancement polish, a one-step correction that removes light-to-moderate swirls, and a full two-step (cut then refine) for heavily swirled or neglected paint.
Correction is also the right prep before a ceramic coating — the coating locks in whatever finish is underneath it, so correcting first means sealing in flawless paint instead of flawed paint. All of it happens in your driveway with the mobile rig.

Common Questions
The defects it removes are gone for good — correction physically levels the clear coat rather than hiding scratches with fillers. New swirls can still be inflicted afterward, which is why Sam recommends proper hand-wash technique or a ceramic coating to protect the corrected finish.
Depends on the damage. Light swirling on a maintained vehicle usually resolves with a one-step; heavy spiderwebbing, buffer trails, or years of automatic washes call for the two-step. Sam inspects the paint in person and won't sell you the bigger job if the smaller one will get there.
A properly done correction removes microns — a tiny fraction of the clear coat, measured and controlled. Modern clear coats are designed to tolerate several corrections over a vehicle's life. Aggressive, repeated machine polishing without measurement is what damages paint, and that's not how this is done.
It's the ideal pairing — you've just paid to perfect the finish, and a coating protects that investment for years instead of weeks. Many customers book the one-step correction plus a 3 or 5-year coating together.
